Portrait photographs at a board quarterly board meeting in the Midlands
Hope you all had a wonderful start to the week.
Thanks to everyone who read my previous post and either sent me an email or a text message or made a phone call. You are so kind! It felt wonderful to read and feel your support. This week, I thought I'd share some recent work.
Someone recently asked me what exactly it is that I do, and I realised this is a perfect opportunity to share it with you as well.
I specialise in creating content with photos, and very soon, videos. I use photography as a powerful tool for problem-solving. Essentially, this could involve capturing headshots, family portraits, documenting events such as weddings or community gatherings, and more.
If you have any specific requests or projects in mind, I would be delighted to discuss them further and explore how I can contribute to your goals.
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to photograph the quarterly board meeting of the Attenborough Theatre at the University of Leicester. My assignment was twofold: capturing the board members in action and updating the staff photographs for the theatre's team.
Working with board members has piqued my interest. If you have a board meeting, senior leadership team gathering, or any similar event, a social photoshoot at the workplace can significantly enhance your work culture.
If you're interested, I'll be happy to share a pitch deck with more details.
I Went to a Portrait Workshop in Birmingham
Lately, I have enjoyed practicing, and as we delve further into the summer, I'm working on producing more content and being much more consistent.
The Flash Centre held a portrait workshop in London and Birmingham, and I attended the workshop in Birmingham with the aim of incorporating more lighting setups into my portrait work.
Here are some photographs from the workshop.
One of the valuable lessons I learned from attending the workshop was the significance of sharing knowledge. Many of the things I learned validated my existing practices, and I had the opportunity to meet a talented group of local photographers.
The lighting setup is almost identical to my own style, and I can't wait to continue creating and evolving my work.
See you next week.
