Creative Practice 03 | Getting Published
A few weeks ago, some of my work got published for the first time
And happy Friday to you all. How have you been and how was your week? Mine was very productive and I’m I bet you thought it would be a little while longer before I share another newsletter. Surprise!!! 😊
My work was published 📰
I recently had some editorial work published in Roidx and Fienfh, and I am over the moon. These are often milestones in a photographer’s career and it sure is one for me too. You can now call me a published, commercial photographer. It has a nice ring to it, and this wouldn’t have been possible without the help of my splendid team. In fact, here’s a blog post I wrote recently about working with a team.
The photographs were submitting in February, as a collaborative project towards magazines whom we thought would be a good fit, and hey, presto, they were accepted and Bobs is your uncle.
I am quite happy about these more than I would really like to admit and I’m sure these won’t be the last published photos. The next step for me is to consistently submit editorial pieces to publishers with the intention that similar commissions in the future from more recognisable publications are coming my way.
